Canoeing at George Lake has been fun and surprisingly relaxing.
The lake itself is not overwhelming... not too big where you'll get lost somewhere, ending in another part of town nor is it too tiny as there are so many unexpected pockets and unpredictable turns where you'll discover smaller coves and beaches.
Never thought that canoeing for 4 days would be so enjoyable!
A definite must-do activity at camp.
This year, we rented a good size Kevlar Canoe which was really light-weight and very roomy. Great fit for a family of five with a small dog plus lots of room for dry sacs, a back pack and a medium cooler. It really complimented our paddle board, Blue and small kayak, Donut!
